You know that this impeachment inquiry is all a scam. What’s crazy is
that they have less to go on with the Ukraine angle than they did with the
Russia angle. Even after Mueller essentially exonerated the President, there
was more compelling evidence in that report than there is in this Ukraine
business.
That’s how crazy this impeachment deal really is. And, to prove that, you need
to learn that the Mueller investigation was even more biased than we originally
thought. It’s so bad that Mueller committed perjury just to try and hide the
dirty truth.
For years, we were fed a narrative that Robert Mueller was an objective
investigator. He was retired before he was assigned to the special counsel to
investigate the Trump campaign, and that ensured that he was beholden to no one
in the current administration.
In fact, this past July Mueller was testifying before Congress to that effect.
Under oath, he was asked several questions that were intended to demonstrate
his objectivity.
One question in particular pertained to how he received his appointment. He was
asked if he had applied for the job of FBI director. Mueller’s own words were
that he did not want the job or apply for it. As far as he knew, he was only
set up as special counsel.
It turns out that this narrative isn’t true. Mueller was trying to get back
into the FBI before he was appointed by Rosenstein. More importantly he
formally applied for the FBI director post that was vacant after Comey was
fired.
It might not be clear why this makes such a conflict of interest. The full
story will help.
When Rosenstein first talked to Mueller about the special counsel, Mueller said
he would only do the job if he wasn’t the director of the FBI. It was a backup
position, and it came with retaliatory feelings. President Trump didn’t give
him the job he wanted, so he went after that president.
What matters far more than this is the simple fact that Mueller committed
perjury. Under oath, he said he didn’t apply for the directorship. We now have
multiple testimonies and written evidence that all say otherwise. This is
unmistakable perjury. The next question is whether or not Mueller will face any
consequences for his crime.
It’s clear that Robert Mueller had a conflict of interests from the start.
That’s why he lied to Congress about it. It’s one more clear bit of evidence
that the entire investigation was a political witch hunt.
It’s also why Mueller did extremely weird things when he finally released his
report. He knew that there was no evidence sufficient for criminal prosecution,
so he tried to convince Congress to move with impeachment. The whole thing
stinks.
You may have suspected as much, but every day, we get more proof. More than
ever, we need President Trump so he can drain this cesspool of a swamp.
